Working with the U.S. HHS and CDC, Oracle built and provided a patient monitoring system that has been made available to all healthcare systems to gather data from their subscribers/members around symptom tracking, laboratory test results, and more. By asking members to report symptoms even before they become sick, healthcare administrators can identify early warning signs of potential COVID-19 flareups. The system also aggregates high volumes of testing data to help researchers and policymakers make more informed decisions around the safest time to reopen communities. As of October 1, 2020, there are more than 3.5 million patient updates in the system, with many of those having been entered from a mobile device.
